Smoky Quartz was known as a Stone of Power. To the ancient Druids, it was sacred and signified the potent dark power of Earth gods and goddesses. In other cultures it guided souls to the afterlife. In Scotland and parts of Europe, it was originally known as Morion by the Druids. It was used for similar purposes by placing it outside of houses or in windows to prevent drifting spirits from entering so it has protective properties.
Smokey Quartz benefits the reproductive system, the heart, muscles and nerve tissue. It regulates liquids within the body and aids assimilation of minerals.
