Serpentine is also known as “new jade” and is said to assist in transformation and rebirth. Balances the mind, body, and spirit. Serpentine is useful in the rise of the Kundalini. It stimulates an opening in the pathway through which the Kundalini may travel, and lessens the discomfort which is sometimes associated with this movement. Placement on the crown chakra provides a drawing force conducive to cleansing that chakra and to stimulate the crown. It is also an excellent stone for enhancing the meditative state. Can also be used for the heart chakra.
