BRIMSTONE – Brimstone, (Sulphur powder) is used in magick to prevent a hex from taking hold or to destroy an enemy’s power over you. Used in hex removal and spells of banishing. Used in some foot track magic and is an ingredient in the famed ‘goofer dust.’ Additionally, brimstone can be used to purify spaces and objects, and to summon spirits or otherworldly beings. Powdered Sulphur relates to the Sun, and the element of Fire.

When working with brimstone, it is important to be mindful of its potent energy. This mineral should be used with intention and care, as it can amplify the effects of both positive and negative energy.

To remove negativity or break curses, burn some brimstone on charcoal in a safe place outdoors. As the smoke rises, visualize all of the negative energy leaving your body and space. Brimstone can also be used to summon spirits or otherworldly beings. As the smoke rises, state your intention aloud and wait for a response.
