Description
BONESET – use to protect your health or undo curses that others have placed on you to affect your health. Wards off evil spirits when infused and sprinkled around the house like holy water. Sometimes used in ritual cleansing, by infusing into bath water or floor wash, or by using as a floor sweep by sprinkling it on the floor and sweeping out the front door.
Also known as White Snake Root, Feverweed, Sweating Plant, and Agueweed
To fend off evil spirits, mix Boneset with a sachet and place it above the entryway in your home. In baths, boneset can be used as an uncrossing herb. Use Boneset together with Angelica Root and Devil’s Shoestring to cast out hexes. To rid themselves of enemy tricks that have negatively impacted their health, some people turn boneset leaves into tea and take a bath in it. By sprinkling BONESET on the floor and sweeping it out the front door, it can also be utilized as a floor sweep in the sick room.
Boneset steers ghosts away and draws helpful, loving spirits in their place. In addition, boneset can shield people and animals against “ghost sickness,” a condition some people think may develop after prolonged interaction with the deceased.
The strongest boneset is observed growing on graves or close to them. White pine can be added to it for further benefit. To ward off existing ghosts, hang young boneset branches over doorways or burn young boneset branches and twigs in a cauldron.
