Spell Candles - Chime candles

Chime candles – you can find little, four-inch tapers in almost any new age store in existence. They are commonly referred to as spell candles by those who frequent metaphysical stores and apothecaries. They are most often used for spells because they only burn approximately 2 hours and are good when you need to start a candle spell right away.

They are often only purchased at Christmas and are recognized to the general public as angel or chime candles. Why do they have the name “chime candles”? The candles were made especially to be used with an angel mobile made of metal that rotates due to the heat of the candles.
